Title: Mirror Image
Characters: Several Doctors, in particular Six.
Prompt: 069 - Through the Looking Glass.
Summary: Mirrors can be tricky things. Time Lord mirrors especially so.
Disclaimer: Don't own Doctor Who, not really that interested in owning it. XD
Notes: At some point, I will write Six not being a depressed sod. And then the universe will end. :D
In the TARDIS, there was a mirror.
This mirror was special. It showed who you were on the inside. It had helped Eight and Nine keep going after the things that they had done to protect the universe, showed them that they could still help the universe without devastating it further. Ten and Four had looked into it on a whim, smiled at the happy, bouncy reflections and put it out of their minds.
Only Six had refused to look. For all of his arrogance, he had been too scared.
In that mirror, he thought that he'd see the Valeyard.
Title: Reaction Shot.
Characters: Ten.
Prompt: 117 - Improbability
Summary: Ten does not take fandom seriously.
Disclaimer: Don't own Doctor Who, not really that interested in owning it. XD
He thinks that this whole series of events was improbable, if not impossible. Some of the things that these people are saying are completely absurd. From one of the best kept secrets in the universe, he’s become a sort of entertainment for these people, free to be mocked by anyone, anywhere.
However, he’s somewhat glad that it is this particular incarnation that has to deal with it, as most of them might not have such a great sense of humour about the idea. Still, sometimes he just has to say:
“Hang on, what are they writing about me now? Why?!”
Title: Insane...
Characters: Ten.
Prompt: 204 - Nuts
Summary: Jake is having problems with his natural scepticism.
Disclaimer: Don't own Doctor Who, not really that interested in owning it. XD
Rose has told her story three times now and Jake still can’t bring himself to believe it. In fact, if the Doctor hadn’t just saved his life from a group of metal creatures that used to be people, and if his boyfriend hadn’t died and been replaced by a straight parallel version of him (with a slightly different name and an inferiority complex), then he’d call her insane.
Maybe she is crazy. Or maybe he’s actually the one that’s mad and everything that’s happened is actually normal for the world, that everyone else is sane.
He hopes that he’s wrong.
