Words! meme.

Reply to this meme by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your LJ and explain what they mean to you.

Hirono - Okay, for those of you who don't know (all two of you), Hirono Shimizu is a character from Battle Royale. For the entirety of this paragraph, I'm going to focus on the manga version, as assumedly that's the version that Tallulah was thinking of. Canonically, she's a spiky haired prostitute who also does some drug-dealing and bullying on the side. I think that she's also a rather interesting character, who happens to die a rather horrible death. And if she's shipped with Shinji Mimura (who is also a rather interesting character, who prolongs his life very slightly via duct tape, but that doesn't mean that his death isn't just as horrible *shot*), they will probably drive each other up the wall, as V7 canon and the bizarrely long script-fic of doom that I've been writing over MSN shows.

Movie Hirono had the worst line in the entire movie. It involved implications of her stalking both Mitsuko and Megumi to find out when their periods were. I was not impressed, and therefore don't tend to write her as much.

Novel Hirono is like the manga version, only more of a jerk.

Battle Royale - Yay for 'verses with kids getting killed? The aforementioned Hirono is one of the minor characters. Don't bother about (most of) the mains. Nanahara's a soppy jerk, Noriko's a bit of a crybaby, Kiriyama's a Villain Sue, Kawada's a plot device, Mitsuko's a bundle of psychoses wrapped up in fanservice...although Shinji is pretty awesome, despite being ridiculously smart, and Hiroki's also awesome but hard to write.

The minor characters involve Hirono, Takako (who is literally made of win), Yukie (who is rather cool, but dies horribly as a result of...*spoiler edit*), Yutaka (who is clearly the Woobie of the whole thing and can best be described as Neville Longbottom without the infinite levels of badass from OotP/DH), Keita (who is possibly the only example ever of a character made completely OOC by the film adaptation that I actually prefer to the other versions) and Mitsuru (who clearly has a crush on Izumi).

Paganism - I don't sacrifice children/animals to my dark god of the underworld much. I wear my pentacle the right way up, and I usually use the pronoun 'she' when talking about God. That's all.

Oh, and I light candles and incense on occasion. When my room's tidy.

(This paragraph is shorter as I'm much happier talking about fandom things than my actual life. Most of you may have already noticed that.)

Liverpool - The city in which I go to university and my favourite place in the world. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Liverpool from Warrington (my home) by train, and there's a big (by the standards of Warrington, anyway) comic book/merchandise store between the main train station (this would be Lime Street, not Central, despite the name) and my campus, so I...just tend to pop in on my way back home. And come out with about £40 worth of Hellblazer comics/Doctor Who audios. Pretty much every time.

There is also Liverpool One, which has a big cinema, and a fucking awesome sushi place. And a huge HMV.

MSN - I usually only go on MSN to talk to Tallulah or chase up someone for a post who doesn't seem to be on AIM at the moment. However, the latter's rare. Talk subjects tend to involve a lot of crack, mainly involving either Doctor Who/Torchwood or Battle Royale (although it isn't uncommon to have both) and me promising to write fic. Which I then forget about until December when I'm trying to come out with new fic for 12dayschristmas.
