Some of them may be hard to guess though. Don't worry, I'll only be offended if you put Mitsuko/Kazuo as my favourite pairing. ♥ Or Ten/Rose.

1. Battle Royale
Character: Hirono Shimizu.
Pairing: Hirono/Shinji.

I didn't like Hirono before I read the manga. And I didn't even think about this pairing until halfway through V7 when Kazuo got NPC'd and Tallulah commented that she'd think it would be cool if they met up. :D I'm so glad that we did. *hugs*

The OT3 gets a special mention, but it's not a pairing. ♥

2. Battle Royale II
Character: Kenji Maezono.
Pairing: ...Not been guessed yet. :D

I have no idea why I like him so much. I think it's because he needs backstory like whoa. Well, most of the characters in BRII do, but according to most of the background stuff that I've read, he was a jock once. I got the idea that he was in the rugby team -mostly because they were the jocks that got the most screentime- and that made me want to write about him.

3. Harry Potter
Character: Terry Boot.
Pairing: Not been guessed yet. :D

Minor character with no background = love. At least from me. And he got a cameo in Deathly Hallows, which was nice. Besides, there's only six Ravenclaws that you see openly join Harry. Out of them, one's Cho, one's Ginny's ex, one's Luna (who rocks too :D), one's clearly a reference to 1984 and one's Parvati's twin.

6. Doctor Who
Character: Jake Simmonds
Pairing: Jake/Ricky.

It's not because it's one of the only slash pairings in accepted canon. You guys know what I'm like, I'd ship it even if it wasn't canon. I ship it because I like the pairing. And he's my favourite character because he kicks much Cyberman arse. In four episodes, he kicked more arse than Rose did in two seasons. :D

7. Beyblade (and if anyone gets that, I'll be shocked. Seriously. :D)
Character: Salima
Pairing: Rei/Salima.

I felt sorry for her. I mean, if you were stuck between your friend and your crush, you'd feel terrible too, right? And I think she did the right thing. Even if she did go batshit insane.

And yes, Rei/Salima as favourite pairing. Because the first Beyblade episode I watched had it implied that she liked him. And then she did go batshit insane, but hey, so did almost everyone else in that anime. :D *shot*

8. Lord of the Flies (I know that people might get my favourite characters. Favourite pairing...no, I doubt that.)
Character: Roger.
Pairing: Roger/Simon (...Sophie, you are psychic. And scary. Stop it. :D)

I don't believe that anyone is truly evil. It's just not something that I can get my head around. Twisted, yes. Mostly evil, yes. But no-one's truly evil. Just because we only read about what Roger becomes on the island doesn't mean that he was evil beforehand. It also doesn't mean that after the novel, he doesn't get psychiatric counselling and lives a normal, happy life. Besides, it's not like everyone else on the island didn't want to kill Piggy at some point. *bricked*
