...I think my history teacher's going to kill me.

See, he was going off on one about the English-Japanese alliance, and I just happened to have read the scanlation of that exact Axis Powers Hetalia strip the previous night, so I recommended it to him...and missed out the lack of heterosexuality (particularly with England or America, but we all knew that already, right?).

...I meant well. *defends herself half-heartedly*

I'm going to finish my Christmas cards this weekend. I've got all of the addresses now (except [livejournal.com profile] lycoris, who can go here [http://rushikayu13.livejournal.com/132832.html?mode=reply] if she wants one, as can anyone else that I've missed).
...So, I've been thinking about this book series recently.

It was 80's-90's horror (you know, the cheap young adult stuff that no-one ever read?) and there were three books in the series, none of which I can remember the names of. I know that one of the minor heroines/stuffed in the fridge victims (I can clearly remember that the two were interchangeable in the series) was called Anya, and she lived in a boarding house with the main protagonist (whose name began with a C, but I can't remember if it was Caroline, Charlotte or Christina) and the main villains were the owners of the boarding house, who were like Keizou-level sadists, but psychological instead of physical.

And it made me shiver in terror without involving clowns (I kid you not). Of course, I was about 8 at the time, but still...

So, uh...does anyone know what I'm talking about? :D?
