canonical_insanityOkay, as I was cleaning out my hard drive, I found these and decided to post them. Prepare for my massive backlog (of Doom).
Title: Heels
Characters: Five.
Prompt: 205 (Footwear)
Summary: He doesn't know why he bothers anymore.
Disclaimer: Don't own Doctor Who, would sort of like to but could never afford it.
He doesn’t know why they do it.
At this point, halfway through his fifth incarnation, the Doctor is starting to wonder just why he bothers to do any running away at all. With those heels, it’s no wonder that his companions get captured all of the time. In fact, they might prefer being carried away to their doom.
However, this meant that Turlough, who was abducted possibly more often than most of his female companions, had absolutely no excuse. Although...that would explain the six-inch heels that he’d found.
At the time, he had wondered which companion had such big feet.
Title: Predestination Paradox

Prompt: 138 (Welcome Aboard)
Summary: He does not like being trapped in the loop.

He never actually welcomed Mel aboard.
After all, when they first met, he was too annoyed that she’d managed to sneak aboard the TARDIS. Not that he was irritated with her, as he liked the fact that she didn’t complain about his talent for finding trouble, but he hated the fact that Fate had trapped him in an infinite loop.
So he’d spent the first few adventures trying to drive her out of the TARDIS, thinking that he could get her to leave before they met the Vervoids.
She hadn’t. In fact, she had only become more cheerful in response.

Characters: Peri, Eight
Prompt: 105 (Last Call)
Summary: After two regenerations, he realised that he had to give her a check-up.

The last time the Doctor made a house call on Peri was before the Time War.
It wasn’t either of the Doctors she remembered. He’d told her that he’d regenerated twice since she’d last seen him and she’d laughed and called him an improvement, if only in dress sense.
She might also have called him handsome, but she was too old now to think of such things. Her husband had died years ago, and she did not have long left either.
She had smiled at him and he had held her withered hand for a moment before it went slack.

Characters: Chantho, Martha
Prompt: 039 (History)
Summary: Chantho knows her history. Unfortunately, she does not understand it.

At the end of the universe, everything was history. And she had studied notes scribbled by people across time and space about an entity that came when no-one else dared. Because of this, she thought that he would come to help them in their hour of need.
She had also found a diary, written by an Earth woman called Martha Jones. This woman had lived millions of years ago, before Chantho’s race had even become sentient.
However, her diary implied that not only had she known Chantho, but that Professor Yana would kill her.
Surely this could not be possible?

Prompt: 099 (99 Bottles of Beer)
Summary: Someone always spikes the drink. But you would expect that, wouldn't you?

The bi-centennial Villains Union meeting never went down well.
One of the Doctors –most likely Four- had set up a tradition of spiking the drinks before the meeting, so Davros always ended up with alcohol poisoning; the Master –yes, all of them- tended to wind up on the floor unconscious and the Black Guardian ranted about Turlough for hours before passing out.
And –just the once, when Glitz had been very lucky with his timing; Mel had been very grateful and Six had been very amused when he’d realised- the Valeyard had done a strip-tease.
And someone had taped it.
