- After watching the film: They got rid of half of Snape's flashback scenes. Why in the name of all creation would you keep the fucking epilogue and get rid of the flashback scenes (and Neville being fucking awesome whilst on fire/Percy's redeeming moment/Kreacher leading a house-elf army/insert as applicable)?
- I'm sure Lavender didn't die in the book. I'm pretty sure I would have remembered Greyback eating her.
- Snape < McGonagall. That brief look of resignment and terror basically made that entire scene.
- I know, Molly vs Bellatrix was supposed to be a quick fight, and I love the fact that Molly was part of the ward building scene (as she is a really powerful witch), but it was anti-climatic.
- Nothing about Ariana/Dumbledore's past? Really?
- I didn't like the end. It was better when Harry explained it before Voldemort tried to kill him.
- The Grey Lady was perfect, and I'm happy that McGonagall didn't have to Imperius anyone, but that is still a relatively important part of the story, and I'm annoyed that they missed it out.
- I like the fact that Harry talks in Parseltongue in his sleep. That is going straight into my personal book canon.
